Tenancy agreements and policies aspects of allotment management - delivered by The National Allotment Society
Join this online session on allotments management, focusing on tenancy agreements and policies. This training will cover the basics of different types of allotments and the legislation that applies to them. You will also learn about the growing trend of including allotments in new developments and the process of land acquisition for allotment spaces, the various management options available and the responsibilities that come with each.
The session will explore the pros and cons of local authorities directly managing allotments, as well as provide guidance on what to include in a tenancy agreement. You will also learn about the standard clauses required by allotment legislation, and get access to useful templates to streamline the process. Additionally, the common issues that arise in allotment management and practical tips for handling day-to-day challenges will be discussed.
